Walk & Train Sessions

Feel more confident on your dog walks with a Walk & Train session.

Do you feel a mild sense of dread when you grab the lead and head out the door?

An impending sense that embarrassment or chaos is just around the corner?
If your dog pulls on the lead, barks at people, chases moving things, freezes in place, or seems scared of the world – you’re not alone.

And you’re not doing anything wrong.

These one-to-one sessions are designed to give you practical support and boost your confidence while we’re out together.

Common walk struggles I can help with:

$

Excessive lead pulling

$

Reactivity or sensitivity towards people or other dogs

$

Freezing or refusing to walk

$

Nervousness or hypervigilance outside

One of the things my Walk & Train clients say they love most is the opportunity to ask questions while we’re out walking.

All those little things you’ve wondered about – but didn’t think were ‘big enough’ to book a full session – can be explored together.
You’ll also pick up bonus tips along the way, as your dog shows me what they need in real time.

Connection Walks

These small-group walks are designed for dogs (and people) who want to practise being around others in a calm, low-pressure way.

Dogs stay on lead and are never forced to interact.

Some might walk parallel. Some might prefer to stay at a distance.

These walks are about presence, not performance.

They’re also great for owners who want to build their own confidence – with or without their dog.

Connection Walks: £10 per spot (dog or human)

"Karen was great and her ability to look, assess and understand our dog's behaviour was extraordinary. We have gained a much fuller understanding of how our dog's brain works. Thank you very much - it was 110% worth coming to you"

We all love our dogs, but sometimes they develop undesirable behaviours, and you can struggle to understand why your dog is behaving in the way that it does.

A dog’s behaviour is a symptom. The role of a behaviourist and dynamic dog practitioner is not to fix the symptom but to identify and work out the underlying cause of the behaviour.
